New pregnancy or leftover hcg?

Hi!

I had a miscarriage on September 16. Was 10 weeks pregnant, but baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. Bled intermittently for 1.5-2 weeks post miscarriage. Period has not returned yet. I tested negative on a clear blue digital 1.5 weeks ago.  Tested today, both frer and clear blue digital. Digital was negative. This is my frer. Do you think it’s still picking up residual hcg or it’s a new pregnancy? Your votes are much appreciated.

Only way to know for sure is to have blood draws. My hcg never returned to zero after my miscarriage and I had to have a d&c.

I miscarried on September 28th at 9.5 weeks with identical twins and haven't had a cycle yet. My test are negative for now, so I'd say it's a new pregnancy for you. Keep testing

No blood work. Doctor just told me to take hpt end of October to confirm negative but I got a negative digital 1.5 weeks ago. But maybe the leftover hcg just didn’t show on that one.

did you ever get bloodwork that confirmed your hcg at 0?

I had something very similar happen. I got negative tests, and then positives. Turned out I didn’t miscarry all of the tissue and it was building small amounts of HCG in my system. If your tests keep getting darker, it’s probably new. But if they stay the same or get lighter, it’s probably leftover tissue
