Hand foot and mouth?

Question

Has anyone breastfed while little one having hand foot and mouth?
My 13 month old caught it from daycare she still nurses twice a day. 
I seem to be okay, but anything I can do incase I get it ?

I breastfed my son when he had it, I didn’t catch it. You can ask the pediatrician if you’re able to do it.

HFM is the worst! Make sure you’re washing hands (yours and kiddo’s) frequently, especially after being in contact with blisters or during diaper changes and not sharing any drinks/foods/towels, etc. I’m not sure about nursing specifically (I wouldn’t think it increases your risk?), but I would wipe down your nipples well after feeds.
