When did you realize your husband was the one ?

I’m just curious to know when and how long it took you to realize your husband was the person you were going to spend the rest of your life with ?

We met in college. We hung out for the first time on a Wednesday and talked for hours and eventually got hungry so went on a first impromptu date. On Friday he told me he loved me and I️ loved him too. We knew that first night. ❤️🥰☀️ We celebrate three years of marriage ( and 7 years of being together) next week. 🙌🏽 and in 2024 we will be welcoming our first child together. 🥹😭❤️😌

I knew after a week of knowing him and we got married within the month. 😂 we only had one date and I just knew he was the one after we hugged for the first time. Been married 6 years now and expecting our second.

Lol i dated his best friend first and met him when i was 14. His friend cheated on me and he was the one to tell me. Obv the friend and i broke up when i was 15. Two years later cheating friend came back in the picture begging me to get back with him. He was always bringing my now fiance with him when he would show up at my house. I was like naw i dont want you, but ill take your friend. LOL. I was 17 and he was 18 when we first started dating in the summer time of 2010. I turned 18 a month after we started dating officially and then we were pregnant with our oldest son 3 months into our relationship when we found out. Here we are 13 years.later and we now have.3 sons. <3 i knew he was the one that first night we hung out alone. We had such good conversation. He told me he was scared of me because all the girls he dated always screwed him over. I made a promise to myself that night that i would never be that girl and here we are. Weve been inseparable ever since.

We were 15 when we started dating. He saved my life the night we met. About 3 months after being together I looked in the mirror and didn't recognize myself. I was happy, glowing, healthy, and for the first time in my life I was at peace. Being with him felt like home and I had never felt what home was like. I had never felt love like what he gave me. Pure, unconditional, genuine love. Not even from my own mother. I was safe, loved, and cherished. He's my best friend. I've never had to hide who I am from him. He's beyond sweet, kind, empathetic, genuine, and truely the best person I've ever met. He makes me laugh so hard I cry, can calm me down super fast even during a PTSD episode, and makes me feel like I'll never grow tired of him. It was and still is just an overwhelming feeling of peace, safety, and love. I've always felt like I was home and the feeling has never gone away. It's an amazing feeling and 11 years later I feel like I'm living a fairytale.

When I was 13, even though my dad said he's off limits as his friend's son and he didn't want teen romance to ruin a friendship. Eventually we both married the way wrong people and both ended up divorced. Took me a year to work my way home and another year before I was ready to date. We reconnected as friends going through similar situations (24 at the time) Spent a few months just hanging out and talking. Organically it grew from there. We've been together for 8 1/2 yrs, married for 4 1/2. Just had our third kiddo 3 weeks ago (5th pregnancy) His dad was ecstatic when we started dating because he always knew we'd end up together. It used to be something he told my dad to get him riled up 🤣 And then it happened.
