Fridge milk mixed with freshly expressed milk
Slowly regretting not taking the free breastfeeding classes offered by my insurance. I have stashed close to 40 oz of milk in my freezer now and just learned today that it’s not recommended to mix fresh expressed milk with milk kept in the refrigerator. I typically nurse one side and pump the other and then store it in the fridge until I get 5 oz then bag and freeze. I don’t typically get more than an ounce to 2 ounces when I pump. My question is, is all my freezer milk compromised since I mixed cold with freshly pumped milk? All the milk in one bag is from the same 24 hours.
