2-3 days late and BFN

2-3 days late and temp is still very elevated. BFN this morning though! Ugh! I told myself I wasn't going to test unless I was late, which I am, and still got a disappointment. 😞 
No symptoms of AF coming and temp still up which is unusual. Anyone had a similar situation and it took a few extra days of being late to get a BFP?
