There are so many car seats it’s so hard to choose, anyone have any recommendations?

I big thing that I realized after some research: there's essentially three types of carseats. An Infant Carseat, which is rear-facing, smaller and more portable (usually has a detachable base). It usually only covers their first year though. Then there's converible carseats, which are rear-facing for the first year, then forward-facing for the next year of life (roughly, depends on weight rating for carseat and weigh of baby). These are usually bulkier but last longer. Then there's all-in-ones, which are like convertibles but also change into a booster seat for when your child outgrows the front facing carseat.   I'm going to be opting for an all-in-one to save money for when baby grows out of that rear-facing stage. Prices can be very similar for each.

It’s like having 3 different strollers in one so you don’t have to buy new ones when baby transitions and grows. 
Avoids separated costs for each piece that you would need (stroller, car seat base, and car seat).

My best friend and I both got this one for our babies. It has excellent safety features, tailors to baby's weight and length, and seems very comfortable because all our babies travelled very happily. It comes with three different size inserts to adjust as they grow, and the base makes it a breeze to clip in and out. Plus it's fairly light to carry and has a built-in bonnet!
