NIPPLE PIERCINGS?¿

So I really want to get one of my nipples pierced, and I've read online about it, but when I got my nose pierced they said it would take months to heal when it was good to go after 3 weeks. Does anyone have any info on nipple piercings (healing/pain/experience) ?💓

They don't hurt bad. My nose or industrial were probably more uncomfortable. We're a tight, fitted sports bra for the first week or so after getting them pierced, including when you sleep. The pressure makes them feel so much better. They do bleed a little bit, so pick a bra you're not overly fond of.

They take a lot longer to heal than nose piercings. If a nose piercing is done properly, you should be able to mess around with it later that day with no pain. Nipples are fleshy and stay sore longer. NO PLAYING WITH THEM OF ANY KIND. Not only can it cause infection, but having someone accidentally grab them is the quickest way to instant tears. They do goo up a lot and products discharge, but this is normal and goes away. Salt water rinses. Non-scented antibacterial soap in the shower. Be careful of things catching on them. Your hands will be the primary suspects of the crime, as you'll do it in your sleep and changing and in the shower. Be careful of towels, sponges, washcloths, etc.

Mine only took like a month to heal but I left it 2 months before I changed them. I have my septum peirced and I'd say that hurt more but people feel pain in different ways so it really depends on you. Even if it is painful it is definitely worth it.
