Dissolvable staples coming out of c section?

Has anyone experienced dissolvable staples coming out of your c section? If so what did you do about it? I can’t go to my ob at the moment since my baby is in the nicu 3 hours away. Will they make their way out or do I need them removed?

I would call your ob and ask them or maybe even A Nicu nurse would be helpful?

Yes, they are white and look plastic. I had one come out in the corner and then the rest dissolved.

Dissolvable staple? I had no idea that was a thing!! I had stitches that were poking out of my incision and itching like crazy. I had my husband trim them down with a pair of tiny scissors so he could get super close to the skin and that helped immensely. I saw my doctor about it and they were just like yeah sometimes that happens…. And did nothing for me.
