Is it possible to be pregnant while taking birth control while breastfeeding?

I’m taking the lowest birth control pills bc I’m nursing my 15 month old

I’ve been so tired, sometimes nauseous, super bloated and (don’t laugh but it was a sign with my first 2 kids) brittle nails and peeling by the cuticles

I took a test and it was negative, maybe I was too early if I am or maybe I’m just not? Is it possible??? Should I test again

Breastfeeding isn't birth control!! And birth control pills isn't 100% effective. Take a test a bit later, and see your doctor about being tired and that - could just be a lacking iron, b12, d-vitamin or something.

Unless your baby is <6mo old and you’re sticking to a very tight breastfeeding schedule there’s no reason to think that breastfeeding would prevent pregnancy (and even then it’s risky). And I’m assuming you’re on progesterone-only pills (aka the mini pill.) it only takes one pill taken 3 hours late to risk pregnancy, I should know because that’s exactly why I’m pregnant right now lol.
Wait a week or so and take another test, and if that’s negative take another one a week after that just to be sure.
