I’m worried I missed my chance
I (31/F) usually use my app and the test strips to calculate my periods and ovulation. The app is usually right about my period and my ovulation days within a day or two. However, my period was 4 days early, which has never happened before and my ovulation date was supposed to be 3 days ago (October 29th). I inputted on my app that my tests were negative it gave me the date of tomorrow (November 2nd). I haven't checked yet but I feel like it's gonna be negative again.
Now, I usually test every day from the end of my period to the day of the positive ovulation strip but I missed 3 days of testing because I was lazy and it had never been positive before my fertile period and we were doing the baby dance like every day because my sex drive had rocketed for whatever reason. But apart from that in the last 2 weeks, I have been testing regularly. But the strip continues to be negative apart from one day when the line was almost as dark as a positive but not quite so I took it as negative as it says to on the instructions.
So what I'm asking is, is it possible I ovulated much earlier? Maybe during the 3 days I didn't test? Or did I not ovulate at all? My early period is making me nervous, it was also 4 days long instead of 3 days long like it usually is.
I was on BC for 10 years until January when I took out my implanon and before that. until December I was taking the pill for maybe about a year alongside the implant because of irregular periods. I have been off of everything since January.
I know y'all aren't doctors but I get anxiety around explaining stuff to doctors. I just want to make sure I'm not overreacting. We've been trying for 6 months I'm worried it's cos of my body. The doctor knows we're TTC but recommended trying for 1 year before any extra tests are necessary. I didn't think it would take this long to get pregnant since everyone always makes it seem as though you'll get knocked up as soon as you don't use protection.
