Does my approach come off as suspicious?

Question

I’m 6 months pregnant, got pregnant with a one night stand. We met through a friend but we rarely know each other. I’ve seen him maybe 5 times my entire life. He says he’ll be involved as long as he gets a dna test during my pregnancy that he’s offered to pay for but before we could do that we got into an argument & I stopped talking to him, he tried to give me a date and time to see if it was ok with me for the prenatal paternity test but I didn’t respond. He said he *Thinks* is his but wants to be sure because he’s unsure and doesn’t want his family to get their hearts broken if it isn’t. 
Does my approach of not responding to the dna test text seem suspicious that the baby isn’t his since I didn’t get the dna test done nor respond to his text seeing if I was available for it that day?
I could be overthinking! But I definitely don’t want this to raise an eyebrow for anything on my end.

I mean you guys were a one night stand so of course he wants to make sure he’s the father.
You weren’t in a committed relationship with him.. so in his eyes that means you could’ve slept with someone else. He’s offered to pay for the test.

Like you said, you barely know each other. And please don't think I'm judging at all - I'm not. But, put yourself in his shoes - he doesn't know who you are or what you're all about. All he knows is you guys had a night together and now you rock up pregnant. He doesn't know whether he was the only person you had sex with and whether or not the baby is 100% his.
Flipping it a little - I have two adult sons and if they came to me with the exact situation you have put up here I would be advising them to get a DNA before investing any time, emotion or money into the child.
You should want to confirm the paternity and the fact that you've gone silent when he's suggested a date to do so doesn't look good.

I would have to say yes, as I don’t see the reason why you would not want to know if he is the father ? Also if anything comes up you can take him to court and show this test that he is the father and you would get child support

Um yes you are thinking so selfishly. Think of your child. This guy is willing to be involved he said. Don’t you want your child to have a relationship with their dad? Don’t you want the dad to have a relationship with their child? You got to do the dna test. I’d be furious if I was him and it totally looks like you are avoiding the test bc you are unsure

I read your other responses. Given the 1 night stand situation, it makes sense to me that he doesnt want any involvement with you,the pregnancy, any coparenting or get to know each other talks etc until the DNA test is done. Just get the test done.

He deserves a dna test. He knows nothing about you. The same way you had a one night stand with him you could easily have had one with other people. He's right to protect himself from having to support a child that might not be his.
