Someone reached out to tell me my boyfriend is gay Update

I blocked this person and haven't brought it up to my boyfriend yet. Some random ass person told me my boyfriend is gay. That when he was 14 he was charged and put on probation for attacking their youth group leader. He bit his hand so hard it broke skin. They said my boyfriend lied and said the guy was trying to assault him and covered his mouth but the leader said he bit him because my boyfriend tried to make advances at him and he said no and tried to tell him that's a sin so my boyfriend decided to bite him. I most likely won't know because since my boyfriend was a minor records would be sealed away. Plus this all happened when he was a child. It feels weird for someone to reach out and tell me something he did as a child. Do you guys find that weird? I kind of just blocked him and moved on. I thought about telling my boyfriend about it but I don't want it to seem like I believe this person. Even if it's true I mean he was 14. That also doesn't make him gay. If my boyfriend is bi I would be fine with that. It's all just bizarre to me for this person to tell me this. My boyfriend is almost 30 so idk why it matters.

Update: I spoke to my boyfriend but I said it like "This weirdo messaged me and I don't believe a word he said which is why I blocked him." My boyfriend was really upset about it and took a minute to talk about it. He basically said he never lied about anything. He bit the guy because he tried to assault him and he only got charged because no one believed him since he was on probation already for other stuff and was known as a bad kid. While the Youth group leader helped with charity and stuff so he got a longer probation. I completely believe him. He said one of his girlfriends didn't and left him because of this guy who is someone he didn't get along with in Youth group. Since he's done this multiple times I told my boyfriend he may be able to get him for harassment. I don't know how all that works but we are gonna look into it. Thx for the opinions
