No. No solids at all until 6m old with all ready signs met. That is all major health organizations recommendations. Drs are not nutritionists and those who say 4m is not following the board certified pedi nutritionists at those major health orgs.

As a mom of soon to be 3....let me say that you Mom can make this decision. I gave both of my children soft pureed food at around 4 (closer to 5 months) and they did great!!! Just make sure that milk is still their primary source of food. Introducing it to your baby at this age is not going to harm your baby at all! Start with gerber rice or cereal and add enough milk to make it almost soupy. Also the pureed baby food sold in stores has stages listed on the label. Ex.) Stage 1 which is very water. Stage 2 which is a bit thicker ...so on and so on and so on! Once your baby grasps the concept of eating from a spoon, you can then thicken it up at around 5-6 months old. Just be aware that this will thicken their stool and could possibly cause constipation which 1oz prune juice 1 oz water will help. 😘

YES absolutely. I’m so confused why people are saying no. 100% yes. Small amounts of pureed foods starting at 4months is the new recommendation. do not substitute for milk but totally okay to introduce soft foods and proven to decrease allergy rates.
