We have to pick our godparents soon because we have to prep with them and the priest but I have no idea who to pick. I've had like 5 people say they want to be godparents and most of them are friends. My mom thinks that I should just stick to family because family is family no matter what. But she did that for me and I've seen her friends 1000 times more than I ever see the cousin that is my godmother. And my grandfather had forgotten that he's even my godfather too. It's so frustrating that it has become more of this social status than what it's actually meant for. Have any of you chosen godparents yet? Who did you pick and why?
