Anyone know what this is?

This looks to me like cold sores so hsv. Hsv can lay dormant in your system for years and sprout back up. Has your husband ever had anything pop up? You can get this from sharing drinks too btw. 1 in 4 people have hsv

I second PP comment. Has the tell tale signs of a cold sore.
