Dr put me on birth control while breastfeeding

Baby having weight issues along with a sudden DECREASE in milk supply, period started last week, so I started the sugar pills then came Monday this week which was the start of the tablets that contain the hormone & ever since Monday I have noticed a very big drop in my supply. I am an over producer so I was very shocked and didnt understand why this was happening.

Baby was also fussing at the boob, a tiny bit would come out when hand expressed. Did I fuck up my supply? I will be stopping the tablets because that Dr got me fucked up!

Will my supply come back? Will it ever return to normal? I’m eating lactation cookies, drinking heaps of water in hopes it comes back and will be demanding the dr to give me SOMETHING to help my supply
