My OB put me on metformin due to my PCOS. I must say I dropped 11 pounds !! Due to the side effects but out of all honesty they subside with time and I can't complain. My DR said my weight isn't the issue.. I was 190 pounds 5'4 before the prescription. It was my hormones! So Aug 25 2023 was the time I started metformin. And in September I got my period and spotting off and on! When I sent back Dr said it's normal for my body to react that way. The spotting had stopped over time and now I'm spotting again (my period is to come soon)

I go back in Dec. If I have 2 periods I will be put on letrozole first so I'm very excited!
