I never really had cramps during my period when I was a teen, and then when I went on birth control in my early 20s my period basically stopped. After my first baby, when my period returned at 8m pp I had some cramps but nothing terrible, and I only had 3 periods before I got pregnant again. Now my second baby is 1yo and I just got my first period since having her, and my cramps are nearly incapacitating. It’s honestly worse than the contractions when I gave birth. Aside from paracetamol and a heating pad what can I do to ease this? I have two little ones, we’re on vacation, and I can hardly function because I’m in so much pain.
