Should children be allowed to use the bathroom whenever they need?

Ja

I always thought it was a given that if someone needs to use the toilet they should be allowed to do so. It turns out that here in the UK schools can forbid children to go to toilet during lessons. And if kids dare to go instead of wetting their trouser or worse, they get detentions. It goes as far as girls bleeding through their clothes because they aren't allowed to use the restrooms. It is indeed not illegal or unusual for schools to lock the toilets altogether during lessons. Growing up (not UK)we were allowed to use the toilets whenever and very seldom someone actually had to go during lessons. So the excuse some schools use about kids would be disrupting the lessons is just ridiculous, I speak from experience it clearly isn't the caes. I personally think it is a offence against the human rights to refuse a person to go to the toilet. I was just wondering what others think, so please leave your thoughts below.
