cat owners do you let your cat sleep in your bed?

i feel so bad when i shut him out the room and hearing his little meows. i’m mostly scared of him scratching my face & leaving parasites or worms or something. but he’s a strictly indoor kitten (has been dewormed and has his flea treatments) so idk if that makes the chances go down🤷‍♀️

My cats are all indoor, clean and healthy, up to date on vaccinations and meds. All 3 sleep on my bed on and off. One of them snuggles with me every night. they never really disturb me while I sleep or cause any issues. I can usually tell something is up with one of them if they don’t sleep with me. Listening to them meow and scratch to get in the room is more annoying than letting them in the room and in the bed.

It's an indoor cat, where should it get any worms or patasites. And for future referance, don't just randomly deworm your cat. Get It's poop tested first to see it it's really necessary. Deworming absolutley destroys their gut health/ biom.

I don’t but just because he’s a menace. He won’t just lay down and cuddle, needs to be climbing on everything and meowing SO LOUDLY. Love him to death, but he sleeps on the couch or in the guest room. If he would just cuddle up I would let him in the bed.

I live in a camper so there is no door to my bed area haha. Both my cats usually sleep between my legs.

Mine are allowed in our room.  9/10 times I ask my husband to make sure they're out when he goes to work. Around 6a they start climbing on the security computer or playing behind the bed so at that point they gotta go.

I don't let our indoor cats in our room at night. They're up to date on vaccinations and we make sure to keep up with flea and deworming treatments as my male cat is allergic to fleas and they could kill him if he by some miracle caught them. I'm meticulous on making sure my animals are healthy. I don't let my cats in the room at night because they disrupt mine and my husband's sleep. They want to play, sleep on our pillows, wake us up for attention, make it difficult to get comfortable, BOTH cats lay on top of me. It's just not ideal so they get kicked out and get full reign of the house other than the bedrooms at night.

They sleep whereever they wants. Most nights they are out but if they are in our male cat prefers to sleep in someones bed, or female cat likes the sofa.

With this in mind, when do you all recommend kicking them out the bedroom ready for baby? I won’t lie… I’ve been planning it for weeks but it’s now less than 2 weeks until I’m due and I’m still leaving the door open for them🤦🏽‍♀️. One sleeps on the settee but will occasionally come for a cuddle with me and the other has a bed down the side of our bed but doesn’t bother us. Cribs been up for weeks and they’ve not given it a second glance but I know they’re gonna have to go once the baby arrives . Pulling my heart strings kicking them out after they’ve had full reign of the house for 5+ years 😔
