Light spotting day 5-almost positive OPK

I never got my peak this past cycle and started light light spotting. Felt like really bad ovulation cramps yesterday and took a opk today and says I have high LH. I’m having spotting and egg white cm… anyone have this happen? Negative hcg test. Thought I was cd 5 but if this isn’t a period I’d be on cycle day 42… weirdest cycle.
