One week old today 💕

Thank you to this group for all the advice this pregnancy. 💕 I hope you all are enjoying your babies and having smooth transitions to life with a newborn, and for the ladies pregnant I hope you have a healthy, smooth delivery.

This is my sweet Ellie at one week old. For those of you fearing induction, I had to be induced for hypertension at 38 weeks. Things went very smooth and honestly much better than my first two labors with my other kids that were not inductions. I started cytotec around 2 am. I got to sleep and eat breakfast then around noonish my water broke. I got my epidural and then they started pitocin. I was at a 3-4 cm dilated around 4 pm. I felt rectal pressure around 5 and told the nurse. She kept saying ok i will check you after I set up the baby bed. She checked me about ten minutes later and baby’s head was coming out. 😅So we pulled the emergency cord, all the nurses came rushing in and luckily my doctor about two minutes later. He barely had his second glove on and caught her as she came out. I know i read a lot of horror stories about inductions failing and thought adding a positive story to the group might give someone some encouragement.
