4. Probably will change her mind on the name when the time comes years from now.

She wants the name Myla. And I wholeheartedly asked her if we could use the name, we said it's similar to his moms name ironically and we just happen to think it fits for us, and that it would be the best gift ever if she allowed us to use it. But she read it and never replied. We also like Lyla, but not as much but it's something I can get used to since Myla is the only name I see her as. I don't want to lose a 15 year friendship over something like a name. So I don't know what we should do! Help!
