Do you and your husband share health insurance?

Nope. My medications alone cost more than rent every month. And that's with a copay. I have way too many specialists, medications, mobility aids etc for us to afford it as a couple. The insurance i have is through the state and his from work for him and our kids. Mine is a bit slow to get referrals but i haven't been denied any yet on this insurance vs his.

Yea. His insurance is cheaper then mine if it was just me only. Makes since to be on his. For the two of us it’s $75.00 but with me on my own insurance is would be about $90 and his is a lot better then what my work offers.

Yes. I'm a SAHM and our insurance is through my husband's work. His portion is free due to being law enforcement and it being part of his  hazardous duty pay, but me and the kids cost quite a bit. It's good insurance, but it's expensive.

Yes he’s a teacher so his insurance is fantastic and our whole family is fully covered for a very minimal amount per month. We even have our life insurance for both of us through the education association. The pay for teachers isn’t phenomenal but the insurance benefits make up for it quite a bit.

We weren’t because I’m covered on my family’s plan and he just bought the cheapest insurance. But we’ve got baby coming in January, so we just got on the same plan to save us money next year when i hit that deductible for birth 😂 I’ll be kicked off my family’s plan mid year next year anyway so now the three of us will just have our own plan

100%. Mine is like $500 a month for our entire family  and I have an exceptional plan, his would be $800 a month for just him with a crazy high deductible. It doesn’t make financial sense.
