What age do you let your kids bathe by themselves?

Depends on each kid. Sometimesgirls might need help washing their hair ect.

Both of mine started around 4. Well my son showers & my daughter bathes. She's 5, I do tend to do her hair still. The door is also always open so I can hear.

I heard scary stories of little kids bathing or showering by themselves and died, so I don’t allow my kids until they’re 9 years old or older.

When they're old enough to get clean without help and want to bathe independently. My son is 7 and still takes baths because he doesn't like getting his face wet, so he won't shower. I help him wash his hair and then I usually just sit with him and talk while he plays for a bit. He could bathe independently now if he really wanted to, but he doesn't like to.

My rule always was to not fill the water above the belly button and I just kept the door open and my ear open. My daughter is now almost 10
Every kid is different. Even tho my kid adapted fine and worked for us doesnt mean it will for everybody
Some kids are more big splashers or accident proned and slipping. 
All depends what youre comfortable with

My 5yo is plenty capable and trustworthy, but she still wants us around for bath time (she likes to play “shop” or other bath games with us). I’m going to start encouraging more independent bath time after she turns sux because I don’t like playing shop, lol.

My 5 and 8 year olds generally bathe themselves. I wash their hair them let them do the rest.
