Best flask for formula preparation?

I’m using a flask to keep hot water for nightly feeds where I mix it with preboiled cooled water to make warm formula for my bub. And I’m looking for a flask that can be opened by one hand and easy to pour (I only need small amounts).

If your baby is super little (especially younger than 4 months), I hope you are being really careful and using sterilized containers for both water sources. I don’t know if I am understanding what you mean, but this sounds unsanitary and potentially dangerous. Even if it’s “clean,” everything formula/water for making formula touches needs to be sterilized. Are you boiling both sources of water? The flask you are storing hot water also needs to be sterilized somehow. Pathogenic bacteria grow quickly at temperatures between 40° and 140° Fahrenheit, so a closed flask of hot water might be creating the perfect incubator for germs. Unless you have a way to keep the flask of water above 140°, maybe come up with a different method all together?
