Week 7? Miscarriage or has anyone heard of 'Hook Effect'

I'm so, SO Sorry and apologize, but I started spotting and bleeding around 5/6 weeks, not heavy and no cramps, I did pass one small clot/tissue..... My appointment is scheduled for Wednesday. This is my line as of today. Has anyoneexperienceda similar situation? God Bless You All and Thank You to Anyone who reads/responds....

Why didnt you go to the hospital or contact your OB when you had the bleeding. I dont think the bleeding is a good sign and you say you passed a small clot. Definitely need to have beta hcg done and repeated 2 or 3 days later. Sorry and good luck

The hook effect is for unusually high levels of hcg. You should definitely have your dr do bloodwork. It sounds like a miscarriage though.
