My boyfriend told me about his past relationships and told me that he dated a 16 year old girl that turned 17 when he was 19 until he turned 20. There was a period when he was 20 and his then girlfriend was 16. Another thing he told me is that when he was about the same age (about 20-21) he was spending time with his little cousin (a 14 year old kid) who showed him nudes he had received from his class mates and other girls. Which means that my boyfriend, a grown man, was looking at underage girls for fun with his little cousin. When he told me that I felt disgusted and wouldn’t let him near me, I told him that it was disgusting and he asked me what’s so wrong about it. I still think about these instances sometimes and wonder if they are enough of a reason to break up because they make me feel sick when I think about it, but they both happened years ago and he’s not like that anymore. It still bothers me that it has happened tho.
