My mom's basically forcing me to hang out with this young guy she knows from work because she thinks it will help me get over my ex, when in reality it's just making it worse. She completely overlooks the fact that I'm still hurting and I'm not over my ex. I've told her that and I've asked her to butt out, but it seems to go in one ear and out the other. She gave this guy my number and told him to text me sometime (without my permission, mind you). On top of all this, she still bad mouths my ex, even though the break up was a mutual decision and our relationship didn't end on bad terms. I just can't get through to her that I don't feel comfortable with her advertising my relationship status to guys I don't even know and that she's doing more harm than good.
