Wondering if anyone has had a chemical where their HPT lines got darker over time? Also if anyone who experienced this ever had heavy spotting, like more than spotting but not as much as a normal period.

Was due for AF the 21. On the 20th tested and got a FAINT positive to the point where I threw it away because I was sure I had line eyes. 21st I had very brown light spotting which was abnormal for me so took another test and it was pretty faint but positive. Then 22 and today (23) I had pretty heavy dark brown spotting. Definitely not as much as my normal period but also definitely way more than normal spotting IMO.

Yesterday went in for a qualitative blood HCG (lab that does quantitative isn’t available until end of next week) and my results came back “indeterminate” which others have told me could be because my HCG is a little elevated but not elevated enough to say positive likely from having the test done too early or from a chemical but the test was done 2 weeks after suspected ovulation so I doubt its too early.

I’ve continued to take HPT each day and the line keeps getting darker. Even tests I didn’t have any positive on the last 3 days were clearly positive today. None of them are dye stealers by any means but at the point where theres no question it’s positive.

I’ve already scheduled a quantitative blood test but isn't until next Friday and already schedule with my OB who won’t see me until I’m 6 weeks so in 2 weeks still.

Just seeing if anyone else had this experience and how it went? I can’t worry about this for the next 2 weeks but if theres a chance the pregnancy is fine, I don’t want to stop taking care of myself. TIA
