Missed period….8 NEGATIVE HOME TESTS!

Hello All,

We are trying for #2 and I am now 41. I am >10 days past my period and all I had was the lightest spotting I’ve ever had in my life. I spotted more when I was pregnant with my first!

I’ve taken at least 8 home pregnancy tests and all of them are negative. I’m not cramping and the spotting has stopped. When I was pregnant with my first I had no idea because I didn’t really experience symptoms until later into my first trimester and I don’t feel any different now. Also, i use the LH strips to test for ovulation and i definitely had a rise this cycle so it seems that i did ovulate. stress hasn't been too crazy so i don't think i skipped a cycle…nothing seems out of place- except for the negative tests!

Has anyone else had a somewhat similar experience? What was your outcome? I just think my HCG should be over 25 and showing in a home test by now… I use the first morning urine and everything. It’s just not adding up and it is so confusing!!!
