When do you think the perfect age is to get pregnant

My mom was telling me the perfect age to get pregnant is younger like around 18-20. My sister said before 25 but to me it would be 23-33.

There's literally no such thing. Personal health, wellness, financial stability, relationships, job stability, housing stability, so many things to into being able to have children that have absolutely nothing to do with age.

Your brain isn’t even finished developing before 25. Why people choose to have kids before then boggles my mind. But it’s not my body so 🤷🏼‍♀️
I’m 29, my fiancé is 29. We plan on me coming off bc sometime next year. Might be longer than that though. We want 50k saved first, and I quit my job (last day in December) and I don’t have another one yet.  Can’t save 50k on one income when our rent is almost 45k a year.

I grew up in a family who all had kids either at or by 18 years old. They all love their kids, but every one of them has told me they wish they would have waited longer because they wanted to enjoy their young adulthood. My mom is only 15 years older than me and we struggled a lot growing up, BUT because if the short age gap shes like my best friend. Personally, I just had my twins at 29 and im so happy I waited because I had a horrible temper when I was younger and didnt know how to manage my mental health. Even at 21, so many people arent mature enough and are still figuring themselves out. However ive also met 18 year olds that are extremely mature and wise for their age. I think it depends on a persons mental age and when they feel ready. Dont let other people tell you what you should and should not be doing at any age. Everyone moves at their own pace in life

There are pros and cons to having kids at all ages. Physically/medically, the lowest pregnancy risks occur during the 20-29 age range. Under 20 and 30+ are associated with increased risks.
For me personally, the trade off of benefits from being older (30+ for all of my 3 pregnancies) seems to have greatly outweighed the possible increased medical risks.

i had my first 2 months before turning 21. i just had my second at 23 & it makes me wish i had my first at this age. i’m much more mature, emotionally available and have my life slightly more figured out this time around. i do still think 25+ would’ve been ideal though. & unlike i did, my best advice to anyone is to wait until marriage to start having kids.

It's different for everyone. For us the perfect age was 21-26. We knew having kids over the age of 26 was NOT something we wanted. We've never understood why others actually want to wait until their 30s to have kids, but everyone has a different time line. We want to be young when our kids leave home and still be able to chase after lots and lots of grand babies. We had already been together for 7 years when we married right after turning 22 so when we started fertility treatments the following month it was a good timeline for us. My parents we 30 and 35 when I was born and I did NOT want that for myself or my kids. I had zero desire to be an older mother and my husband felt the same. My husband had already been in his career a few years, we were married, financially stable, pleanty of savings, a down payment ready on a house, ZERO debt (I even graduated college debt free), owned our vehicles, had amazing credit scores, ect. We were in the perfect place to start our family. Our oldest was born right before we turned 23, we bought a house 7 months later (took 3 months to close), had our 2nd child 14 months after our 1st at 24 years old, and this baby will be born at 26 only 2.5 years after our youngest. We had always planned to be young parents and we set ourselves up to handle that financially.

I wanted to have my kids before 26. Which I am currently fulfilling. I was worried about long term effects on my own fertility and didn’t want to have to get to the point I needed to add more treatment in the future. I also want to travel with them, my friends were the type to travel before they think about kids but I wanted to be the one to travel with them while I still had the energy. By the time I’m in my late 30s I might not have that and I might be focused on other things. 
My mom had me when she was 35, from personal experience she was a bit lazier as I aged and I didn’t feel like I got the best out of her versus how I heard she was when my older sister was born (when my mom was 25). 
I think it all depends on the individual! Especially if it’s a planned pregnancy because some people just need time!
