My son is 14 months. On Thanksgiving day he got a fever of 102 and had just got over a cold. We took him to urgent care Friday the next day and they said his one ear was slightly infected and sent in antibiotics.

He’s had the fever and been miserable since. Today was his 3rd full day of antibiotics and he’s no better, if not worse. His fever is getting warmer and he’s more fussy than he was to begin with.

He slept 14 hours last night and woke up with a 103 degree fever. He’s still drinking fluids but is extremely miserable. Motrin lowers the fever to low grade but doesn’t get rid of it entirely.

Does this sound like the antibiotics aren’t working? He is sooo miserable 😢
