Is taking the car for two weeks to harsh?
My daughter hasn't even had her license two months and she's already gotten a ticket. It's not the ticket I'm pissed at. It's how she got it. She and her friend were outside the car talking and a cop was already there. They sometimes have them outside Walmart. They just wanted the subway inside the Walmart. My daughter was parked in handicap and the cop asked if she had a handicap parking tag and she said no and he said "Okay you gotta move." My daughter has issues with authority. If you tell her to do something she's not gonna do it. Her friend actually snitched on her to me because she was so embarrassed because my daughter told this cop. "No. I don't think I'm gonna do that." He asked why and her answer was "Because it's America." It got to the point of arguing where he wrote her a ticket and she said she's still not moving so he threatened to arrest her and tow her car. Then she left. She's blocked her friend for snitching on the hole situation because I wouldn't have known she even got the ticket. I want to ground her from driving. But she does have a job. Before she could drive she would take the bus to her job because students can ride the bus for free with a student I.D. She would have a way to work because she bussed for a year but I'm wondering if I should punish her a different way
