2.5 year old not sleeping at night. Here's a new note from her teacher today:

My daughter will scream "I need my mommy daddy, I need my mommy daddy" as loud as she can. Crying so hard every night. She won't let us leave her room. We have to wait until she falls asleep. (we've even tried reintroducing the ferber method) and if she wakes up in the middle of the night, this whole thing restarts.

I had a baby in September. She loves him to death. And this didn't start until October. It could be related to him but unsure.

She also had tonsils, adenoids removed October 6th. My friend just told me this could be the reason. She could be scared to fall asleep that she's going to wake up in pain.

I messaged her Dr. But I'm just unsure what to do. My heart breaks for her.
