I’m struggling. This may seem like simple little things but they are issues I rather address now vs later.

First my son still doesn’t know and letters and can’t count period. I read online and hear from my friends that he is delayed due to this. His speaking is also super slurred. I keep trying to teach him to count. He can read the number but when it comes to actually counting he just shouts random numbers. It’s like he’s bored and just wants to get it over with. I try to make it fun with treats and other things but he seems distracted any time I try to teach him anything…. It’s the same way with the alphabet.

My next things is anytime he gets in trouble before I can say anything he says “I love you”

He knows he did something wrong but it feels he saying it to distract me or get me to love on him instead of talking to him about the issue. How do I fix this?
