Miss Eliza Montgomery - part 18: the wedding 🔥🔥
As the clock struck noon, the doors to the Waters’ parlor opened and Eliza’s stepped through the doors with her father on her arm. Trent’s breath caught, the silks cascading down Eliza’s body accentuate every curve. He wanted to rush to the other end of the room and envelope her in his arms. His brother nudged him gently in the ribs “breathe” he chuckled at his brother. Trent sucked in, he hadn’t realized he’d been holding his breath since the doors opened.
Eliza stared at her bridegroom his wide shoulders perfectly filling the navy suit he wore, which brought out the blue in his blue grey eyes. His pants were cut in a fashionably tight style but different than what he normally wore, making the curves of his thighs a feast for her eyes. Before she knew it they had reached the place where Trent stood with the preacher. As Trent took her hands she noticed they were trembling. If anyone else noticed, she was sure they would assume it was from nerves, but it wasn’t, it was from desire. His words sounded like music to her ears “I Trent Waters take you Eliza Montgomery to be my lawfully wedded wife…” finally the ceremony came to and end and the preacher said “you may kiss the bride”
Trent’s mouth came down on Eliza’s soft but hot parting hers with his sigh of pleasure. The cheers of congratulations brought them back to the moment and they let their lips separate, but still held each other close.
Trent’s mother had planned an elaborate and lovely lunch for an intimate group of family and friends. Everyone was thrilled to see Trent since he’d been away so long and happy to meet Eliza. There was dancing after the meal, but after they’d done their duty of opening the dance floor, Trent whispered in Eliza’s ear with a hand caressing the small of her back “you ready to go?”
“Go? Where are we going?” Eliza whispered back.
Trent grinned “Matthew thought we might want the privacy of his town house for the night, he’ll stay here instead.”
Eliza let out a little squeal of delight and nodded. “Let me go pack a few things and then we can go.”
“Hurry” Trent said huskily.
A few moments later, Eliza was back down stairs with a small bag in hand. Trent had their carriage brought around and was standing at the door waiting for her “shouldn’t we say goodbye?” Eliza asked. “No” Trent said with a chuckle “we’ll be stuck her another hour if we do that” leaning in with a husky voice he continued “and I can’t wait another moment to be alone with you”
Grabbing his hand Eliza’s hurried out the door and into the carriage. Luckily Matthew’s home was only a few blocks away, if they’d been in that carriage much longer it is likely they wouldn’t have been proper to exit it.
