How do you heal after being cheated on? My bf just admitted he has slept with this girl twice and they have been talking a bunch. When does the heartache go away? When does the image go away???? He says he still wants to make our family work but I don’t know if I can move past this. I’ve never felt so low. And I’m 29 weeks pregnant. I could just die.. if you can relate to this, how did you move past or did you just end it? I don’t know how to let go either

Ugh, if you choose to stay he will have to give you 110%. He choose to break your trust and be selfish. This has nothing to do with you and 100% him and his issues. No matter what he says. It will take a long time to regain trust and not have anxiety about where he is, who is he with, what he is doing. Just know if they are going to cheat they will. Nothing you or anyone else can do or say to stop it. With that being said I personally wouldn't " try " because thats asking alot from you. Imo he doesn't deserve another opportunity. He had it and threw it away for a what ? He disrespected you, his baby and himself. Peace of mind is priceless, respect yourself, hold your head up, create boundaries, and be confident in your decisions.

If anything, then therapy. The hurt will probably always be there, but you might be able to work past it with help and time.
But this isn't a heat of the moment thing he did. This has been going on for a while and he even had sex with her twice.
Do yourself a favor and consider if you might be better of co parenting. Im not sure i would even consider trying to work through that..

Get rid of the cheater and it'll be a lot easier to move on. He doesn't want your family to work because if he did he wouldn't have cheated to begin with.
