Am I being unreasonable

Texted my husband to see what time he's getting off work and it turns out he got off work ages ago and he's at a workmates birthday. A workmate he's never mentioned the name of before and the party is all girls. Our baby girl just had her Immunisations so she's pretty grumpy/clingy so I was kind of hoping for a hand. He said he'd be back soon hours ago. Am I being unreasonable here?
