Do you think you should wear your wedding band only being engaged?

Question

I see a lot of people who are engaged but wear their wedding band. What's the reasoning? I waited to wear mine due to the symbolism behind the wedding band. I'm not trying to be rude at all, just getting opinions/explanations.

There's a difference between an engagement ring and a wedding band. I wore my engagement ring while we were engaged and once we were married I added the wedding band. Occasionally I don't wear the engagement ring, and just wear the band. But generally I wear both now that we're married

I wore my wedding band on my right hand untik we were married amd we switched.. He did the same thing.. Engagement rings in his culture are tacky

I don't really wear either ring at all anymore, and my husband never wore a ring (he haaaates all jewelry). Doesn't bother either of us one bit.

I no longer wear either of mine. I just got a ring tattooed on my finger. I work with food and had to either have it off all the time or washing my hands all the time made it so I had to get it cleaned a lot...

I added the band on our wedding day. It had a symbolic meaning to me. I suppose for some people it is just a ring and doesn't really mean much to them or they aren't adding a band on thier wedding day. I really don't know. I had mine for a few months before I got married but had my engagement ring on for two years prior. I plan to add another band for our 10 year anniversary.

I think it dont matter i have my wedding band but it dont fit me confortably because ive swell do to my pregnancy i wear my engagment ring and ppl think its my marriage ring.. My engagement ring fits me so ill wear it.if i dont wear my ring i feel empty.

Wedding band will be worn once we are wed, hence its name. I'll wear my engagement ring from the time we are engaged, hence its name.

My husband proposed with one set of rings and we used a different set when we got married. He wanted me to wear both the engagement ring and wedding ring and he wanted me to use his mom's rings as my wedding rings.
