Since then I have spoken to her and she apologise me for being so abrupt however at the end of the message she said “take care of yourself”. Am I over thinking this that she doesn’t want to be involved ?

She hasn’t mentioned anything about her grandchild.

Should I give it sometime I’m not sure what she wants to do I just want to know if she wants to be involved even if her son doesn’t I believe she has a choice if she wants to. I just don’t know how to approach the situation
