First infertility appointment this week. What to expect?

I've got my first infertility appointment tomorrow. I came off the pill September 2022 and got diagnosed with PCOS in July this year. What were your experiences (I'm in the UK)? Did they start you on treatment straight away, or do they want you to have a period first? I'm hoping to get letrazole and would obviously love to start it ASAP.

What testing have you had done? Usually that where you start from.

You will need more then ultrasounds and bloods, they will ask for hcg tests, cycle day 3 testing and 7dpo testing. Your partner will also need to do his sperm testing before they will give out any medication.

You were both right. They want an up to date ultrasound, blood test to check androgens and prostaglandins (sp?) when I'm on my period (they didn't specify day 3 but I've read that it is the most accurate on day 3 so I'll aim for that), amh and sperm analysis. Glad that things are moving forward
