Has anyone tried feeding a newborn in the side lying position on the bed? I have an almost 3 week old but don’t know if it’s safe or comfortable for her. to lay her on the bed and nurse. Like will the mattress sink in toward my body since I’m heavier than her and will she sink or roll toward me? I know the easiest way to figure it out is to try it. I want her to fall asleep in the bed so I can just rollaway.
