Telling by boy friend I’m pregnant

I recently found out I was pregnant and told boyfriend of five years. We talked about kids and I am currently 36. He started crying because he had a child at an early age and is still traumatized. His daughter is now 14 and I’ve been around for the past five years to help. He asked if I would confide getting an abortion and we build our finances before having a family. I feel if I go through with this I won’t love him the same. I don’t know how to help him or communicate this 😔 spent the entire day crying. Any one has any tips on how to reassure a traumatized man I’m all ears
