Does cranberry really prevent uti’s? (Tablets, gummies, juice)

I’ve heard it does, then I’ve heard it doesn’t. Idk which is true lol but I take the tablets, or chew gummies. Can’t really drink the juice lol.

The thing is it has to be pure cranberry juice. But yes i used to get them when pregnant with my first two and pure cranberry juice helped every time

If you're prone to them, I suppose. I think it helps prevent bacteria from sticking on the walls of your bladder. I don't take or drink cranberry anything & I never get UTIs. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Just remember to make sure that the juice has no added sugars. Sugar can feed a uti. It also helps to have a water bottle you drink from all day. I take D-Mannose supplements as well. As someone who has an extra tube from their kidney to their bladder, I am totally experienced with UTIs😂 they suck!

I wouldnt say so much prevent, But it does help if you already have one. Juice at least from my experience, Helps me pee how i normally would and not just those little spurts you get when you have a uti. Water as well.
