Vitamin C tablets used as plan b?

My brother had unprotected sex with his ex girlfriend for almost 8 months, after ever time they would do it she would take a few vitamin c tablets for about a week or so, because he said that it would kill the Sperm.  Is this true? She never got pregnant

I looked it up and many resources back up the claim that it can prevent implantation if placed in the vagina after intercourse. Sperm survive better in an alkaline environment so by raising the acidity levels of the vagina you essentially kill off the sperm. I would ofcourse not recommend this as a substitute for women trying to prevent pregnancy ...however if you are trying to conceive, maybe avoiding taking large amounts of vitamin C around ovulation/ implantation time. Seems like it could make a big difference.

Never heard of this...but it could make sense. Sperm can't live for long if their environment is too acidic so im guessing all the vitamin C does that to her body?
