Did getting your tubes tied cause problems?

I am currently pregnant with my 3rd kid. I have 2 boys and this is my girl due in March. I am wanting to get my tubes tied becuase we do not want anymore kids forsure. Plus I had lost alot of weight prior to the pregnancy and my goal is to keep loosing and get skin removal surgery so I don't want a pregnancy down the line to ruin that. As well as I had a blood clot from my previous pregnancy and have to take blood thinner shots during my pregnancies and 6 weeks after which also means I cannot use hormonal birth control so I can only use the copper iud. I had it and it kept falling out and could be painful at times which resulted in my getting it removed and now being pregnant with my daughter. I really want my tubes tied but I keep seeing people saying they get adverse effects with it and regret it
