Second vbac not allowed?

So I went to the ob for my first appointment. She told me they won't do a vbac even though I had one 4 years ago without problems? I've changed states and she told me  that's just how this state it. Anyone else have this happen?

I was in NC and SC. I was under the impression it was illegal in those states to have vbac, but someone here told me it's no illegal anywhere! I was forced to have a second c section because I just didn't know the facts. I would call around n see if you can find another doctor that will..... Im now in SD and my doctor is giving me a option this time..... Im very happy about that!

That’s stupid. Find a Vbac friendly dr. If you’ve already had one then it shouldn’t be a problem. 
I’ve had two c-sections so I won’t do a vbac because the risk is too great, given the reason I had the first one, but, my sister has had two Vbacs at home with no problems.

Your chances of a successful vbac increases with every successful vbac. I would find a new dr if I were you!

I'm guessing that is false. Do research and find a supportive provider. ICAN's local chapters are great for that! What state are you in if you don't mind me asking?

Personally I would do some more research, if I were you. Find out if that's true. Maybe call around to midwives and doulas and see if they say the same thing.
