Diaper pail

First time mom and needing pros/cons on a diaper pail. Do I absolutely NEED one??

Maybe when they start eating real food. I have never had one, I just throw them in trash can. If they are real stink , I just doubt bag them lol

I’m totally on the other side compared to the other posters, but we have 2 diaper pails (different floors) and love them. We’ve used them for 3 kids now. They get more annoying as baby gets older and has bigger diapers though. You def don’t NEED them, but they’re one of our favorite baby items.

I got one and hated it lol I just got a garbage can from the dollar store and used that 🤷‍♀️ Worked for me!

I've had mine for a little over 2 years and it's been used maybe 3 times. Regular trash cans are way more convenient in my opinion but I have a friend that bought different kinds of DP's and she uses hers for everything even just trash so really it depends on the make of the DP and how you like to throw things away.

We had one with our first and it was convenient just because we have a 2 story home so bringing diapers down 10+ times a day wasn’t super convenient. We also have dogs that love trash so having a secure spot was helpful. Im torn on whether or not I’ll use it for my second. Buying the refills was frustrating and they’ve gone up in price so I don’t really want the added expense. It also smells atrocious no matter how much we try to fix it.
