OVULATION???

Hello! I was wondering if you OVULATE on the mini pill. I heard you can and my doctor even told me you ovulate on the nexplanon too… TIA

Some people do actually still ovulate when on the mini pill. The mini pill also thins the uterus lining and thickens your cervical mucus in order to create hostile conditions within your uterus. It's not a friendly place for the sperm to even navigate.
I believe it's about half of women taking the miji pill still ovulate.

@Kerry covered the mini pill. I came to say that u do NOT ovulate on the Nexplanon implant. All official literature for Nexplanon says that it stops ovulation. That said, like mini pills & all other hormonal birth control, Nexplanon also thins the uterine lining & thickens ur cervical mucus. I just got my 4th nexplanon implant a week ago.
